Page 1 of 2 There is nothing better than walking around KC in the spring time. All the office bees are out walking with their skirts and tennis shoes, people are in the pocket parks eating an extended lunch, and this year there is more construction to catch up on than anybody can keep track of. Walking around, you can catch a glimpse of the Power & Light district being finished up, the Sprint Center and NABC museum, and little things like the new Aladdin hotel opening in May. For those of you not working downtown, take a day off or an extended lunch and head downtown and just walk around. Everywhere you turn there is a new building going up, reconstruction of an old building being done, or improvements to the city sidewalks and streetscapes. It's really an exciting time to be downtown.
